
What Is the Moss Crochet Stitch?
A flat, dense stitch consisting of a single crochet and a chain one. The short rows make this perfect for lots of color changes and is an excellent beginner stitch.

ROUND 1
Starting in 2nd CH from hook, work 1 SC. *CH1. Skip one chain., SC in next chain. REP from * across the row, ending with 1 SC in the last CH. CH 2 and turn.
ROUND 2:
Starting in the first CH 1 space from the previous row, work 1 SC. *CH 1. skip 1 SC, SC in the next CH 1 SP, REP from * across the row, ending with 1 SC worked into the space between the final SC and CH 2 turning chain from the previous row. CH 2 and turn.
