Hello and Welcome!
I’m gonna be honest. I didn’t know if I was going to finish this blanket. When I laid out the swatches it was perfect. I knew I’d do an infinity moss. No big deal. I was even pretty solid on what I wanted it to look like. But man! I got the first round of pistachio and it was all down hill. I hated it! I thought it was horrible. Friends and the fam would see it and tell me they liked it, but I couldn’t see it. Have you ever done that?
Not one to quit and knowing in my heart of hearts I needed to keep truckin’ I stuck with it and I gotta say, I’m sooo glad I did!
Enjoy!

Also known as the Linen stitch, the Moss stitch is a beginner friendly stitch. It consists of a single crochet and chain stitches (sc, ch 1). The Infinity Moss is the same concept as the Infinity Granny just different types of stitches. It can either be worked in to a square or a rectangle.

Fasten off, Weave in ends.
Want an easy way to keep track of each row? We sure do, so we include row trackers in our PDF’s! You can download that HERE. I don’t know about you, but if I don’t have something to physically check off, I spend more time counting and recounting instead of crocheting!
TIPS
We feel the Infinity Moss is pretty easy to crochet, we do have a few tips for ya to make it (hopefully) easier yet. You can always do what works the best for you, but these are what we find to be tried and true for us!
- Fasten off and weave in ends after each color change.
- It’s best to weave in ends with a darning needle instead of crocheting over them.
- Keep those sides straight by turning the blanket after every round.
- Not every blanket needs a border. Don’t be afraid to skip it!

BORDER
No border on this one! I felt this blanket shined without it so best to leave well enough alone!
If you have any more border ideas to share, leave us a comment below!

Alternatives
If you follow along here, you know this is where we usually add any brand alternatives to the featured color story. Unfortunately for the foreseeable future we’re going to discontinue this feature. Due to yarn shortages, yarn company’s struggling to keep up and discontinued colors, it’s becoming harder and harder to be consistent in offering this to you.
We do have some (we hope) exciting new things coming your way so hang in there with us folks!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
