
What Is the embossed shells Stitch?
The Embossed Shells Stitch is an advanced beginner to intermediate stitch. It consists of treble crochet shells worked in between rows of single crochets. Perfect for color work! The yarn should be cut when changing colors and the ends should be woven in as you work.
Abbreviations

Single Crochet (SC) – Insert your hook, YO pull up a loop, YO and pull through 2 loops.
Treble Crochet (TR) – YO twice, insert your hook, YO pull up a loop, YO and pull through 2 loops, YO and pull through 2 loops, YO and pull through remaining two loops.
SHELL (SH) – Seven (7) TR worked in the same space.

With Color A, 1 SC in the 2nd CH from the hook and in each CH across. CH 1. Turn.
ROW 2
1 SC in each SC across, change to Color B. CH 1. Turn.
ROW 3
1 SC in first SC, Skip SC, *SH in the next SC, CH 1, SK 7 SC. REP from * to last 5 SC, SH in the next SC, SK 3 SC, 1 SC in the last SC. Change to Color A. CH 1. Turn.
